Practice at a level that has your child excited to play and wanting to talk. Does it help your child remember to use the /s/ sound if you pair the sound with a long movement? I usually trace the length of my arm to show how long the /s/ sound is. Also, your child can show awareness for the /s/ sound by imitating the arm movement even when the /s/ sound is harder to say! |
What is hiding?
After you say your sounds, click on the picture, then let your child press a letter key to see part of the hidden picture!
To see the cards again, click the card, press a letter key, then double click the mouse.
When you have all of the cards uncovered, you can talk about what the kids are doing or use /s/ words as requests to see the actions (spring, swing, slide, seesaw).
